In the town of Nazarovo Viktor Tolokonskiy visited the Nazarovskaya GRES power plant. The power plant consists of six units with the capacity of 135 MW each and one electric generator unit with the capacity of 498 MW. The Director of the Nazarovskaya GRES power plant Oleg Voroshilov told the Governor about the preparation for the heating season.
Viktor Tolokonsky directed the Regional Minister of Industry, Energy and Trade Anatoly Tsykalov to address the issue regarding more balanced loading of the GRES power plant. After inspecting GRES, Viktor Tolokonsky held a personal reception of residents of the town and district. The requests of the citizens to the head of the region included the improvement in housing conditions, repair of social facilities, medical care, centralized delivery of children to school.
The Governor directed the relevant departments to support the citizens in solving their issues. In the framework of the working visit the head of the region also visited the settlement of Stepnoy, where he inspected the premises of the kindergarten designed for 60 children. The pre-school institution was opened after major repairs last year. Viktor Tolokonsky noted the good condition and equipment of the kindergarten.
The issues related to the modernization of municipal infrastructure, road complex, technical equipment of health care institutions and the work of agricultural enterprises, improvement in the communication quality were raised at the meeting with the residents of Nazarovo and Nazarovsky District. The Governor gave a number of instructions aimed at solving problems in response to requests and proposals made by the residents of the municipalities.
“Nazarovsky District is the territory with the powerful rural economy, industrial and energy potential and established cultural traditions. There are good opportunities for development. However, we need to cope with the tasks to improve the social environment and strengthen the local economy. After all, Nazarovsky District is a singular point on the map of the region, which largely affects the economy of the entire region”, Viktor Tolokonsky said following his working visit.
