Residents of Krasnoyarsk Kray are among the “richest” people in the country

Krasnoyarsk Kray is in a list of the most affluent regions of Russia. The average budget income of the region per capita amounted to 60.3 thousand rubles. Such conclusion was made by the analysts of RBC portal, who had analyzed the data of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. As of July 1, 2016, the richest regions included Moscow, St. Petersburg, Leningrad, Murmansk, Sakhalin and Magadan Regions, Republics of Altai, Tyva, Komi, Krasnoyarsk and Kamchatka Territories, and Yamalo-Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous Districts. The main sources of income in these regions are income tax and personal income tax. Despite the positive figures, the public debt of Krasnoyarsk Kray has overcome a new point, amounting to 94.7 billion rubles. Since the beginning of 2016 it has increased by almost 10 billion rubles. It has been stated that over half of the entire debt amount is accounted for the obligations on government securities — 51 664 billion rubles. Additionally, the average monthly salary in Krasnoyarsk Kray was 37 199 rubles. The level of income in the region remains the highest in Siberian Federal District.
